To help evaluate the "Electronics Computer-Based Training" software, we need for several students to test it and report how it helped them learn.
Installation steps are given on page 2 of the manual, or the following can be used:
1) From Windows Explorer (NOT Internet Explorer!) navigate to
your CD
drive. You can open Windows Explorer
by right-clicking "My Computer" and choosing "Explore".
2) Double-click "setup.exe" (the icon looks like a video monitor, the file size is 59 KB).
3) If a warning appears about over-writing read-only files, select "No".
4) If Multisim 2001 is not installed on that computer there will be another warning - just continue.
5) ECBT will be on the "Start, All Programs, Electronics Technician"
menu.
6) Be sure to try the "Practice Exams" for the topic you are
learning.
